It’s yellow regarding the death of Rita Combi, the 64-year-old who disappeared on Sunday from Nettuno and was found lifeless in the countryside between Borgo Santa Maria and Borgo Bainsizza. As reported by today’s edition of Il Messaggero, the first investigations would exclude the possibility of murder. The exact answer will be given by the autopsy ordered by the Judicial Authority and scheduled for the next few hours.
It remains to be understood how the woman managed to arrive in the remote street on the outskirts of Latina. A remote area that is difficult to find except by those who know the area well or by those who live there. The alarm was raised by a resident who noticed the woman’s Lancia Musa abandoned on the dirt road, and shortly thereafter the intervention of the rescue teams made the tragic discovery.
The mystery remains as to why the woman ended up there and if she were to meet someone, from the first testimonies the 64-year-old had just returned from the supermarket and left on the table, as if she were in a hurry, the bags containing the shopping, her mobile phone but above all medicines against diabetes.
The trail that seems to be gaining ground is that of a possible illness due to the woman’s illness and failure to take insulin which leads to a loss of sense of direction: this could explain her discovery in the countryside on the border between Neptune and Latina.
