Oasi Desirée wins the Tende del Mare award

The Volunteer Council donated 3,800 euros to the associations that won the tender, for the allocation of the proceeds from the sale of the ‘Tents by the sea’ exhibited in 2022 and 2023. This initiative has been carried out for years in collaboration with the municipal administration and the Academy of Fine Arts of Ravenna translates into a signal of concrete support for the world of active citizenship and solidarity. Last Wednesday the project evaluation commission met, led by Catia Sasselli, president of the Cesenatico volunteering council and Carla Tabarri Benelli, vice president of VolontaRomagna. Present were the vice-president of the Consulta, Franco Zedda, and two representatives of associations excluded from the competition because they were among the winners of the last edition, Claudia De Pascali of L’Isola di Nicole and Matteo Cantoni of Generazione Ziz. After examining the proposals, the commission evaluated them based on social and environmental sustainability criteria. First place goes to Oasi Desirée with the ‘An island for all’ project, followed by Radio Soccorso Cesenatico and the Cesenatico Fire Brigade Supporters’ Association, which thanks to the funding will renew the emergency vehicles. Everyone will be awarded a prize of 200 euros, as a sign of encouragement and closeness in doing good for the community.
