We receive and publish – “At full throttle” is the name of the project path started by Arci Gli Spalatori di Nuvole aps and financed by the Calabria Region with state resources from the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies as part of the Notice for the financing of initiatives and projects of local relevance by ODV and APS pursuant to art. 72 and 73 of the Third Sector Code.
The project, taking up some objectives of the 2030 Agenda such as promoting sustainable agriculture and sustainable production and consumption models and fighting climate change, combines the dimension of environmental protection and responsible consumption with the sustainable development of the territory through the establishment of a GAS (Solidarity Purchasing Group) and the experimentation of some specific actions.
The first awareness campaign against food waste will start shortly and, as soon as the exchange and discussion process already started through the first meetings with producers, families and associations is completed, the Solidarity Purchasing Group will be established as a tool for sharing good practices useful to our communities. Furthermore, educational and training workshops will be activated on the topics covered by the planned activities and a seminar and conference program in which it is expected to also involve local authorities and public administrations, trade associations and schools, families, young people and all citizens to affirm a new synergistic, conscious and responsible approach to protect our territory.
