Towards the end of last April, the intervention of the Station Carabinieri Of Bagnolo Cremasco by a victim of abuse, following death threats during a dispute at home.
Quarrels and abuse at home
In the last days of April 2024, after a furious argument, a victim of abuse decided to report the abuse she had suffered for years from her husband. This is the last of one long series of events that put his safety in danger.
A few days ago, the victim of abuse worried about his life, she decided to leave her home to go to her relatives in order to get away from her violent husband, and then request the intervention of the Carabinieri. According to what the victim declared, i mistreatment began about 10 years agowhen her husband (with whom she has been married for over 30) he began to compulsively abuse alcohol.
Perpetually in a state of intoxication due to the various quantities of alcohol consumed, her husband adopted violent behavior towards her. It all started with small arguments that over time turned into aggression followed by death threats. Furthermore, the family economic situation contributed to a negative influence on the married life of the two, due to the numerous layoffs collected by the husband and caused by the perennial states of inebriation.
The victim explained to the Carabinieri the difficulty of living under the same roof as her husband, suffering daily mistreatment and listening to death threats addressed to her. She also confided that she had not previously reported why scared of the possible reaction of her violent husband.
The complaint was filed after yet another argument
As the victim told the police, everyday life within the home was unlivable. The verbal and physical attacks then pushed the victim to file a complaint against her husband. Following the various investigations, given the gravity of the situation and the constant danger in which she lived, the Carabinieri of Bagnolo Cremasco notified her yesterday (Tuesday 7 May 2024) the measures taken against the husband: removal from the family home and a ban on approaching places frequented by his wife.
