A serious road accident occurred in the morning on via Bruno Buozzi near the well-known restaurants La Gardenia and Pagnanelli, just before the junction towards the lake, via Olimpica.
A Jeep Renegade came into head-on contact with an Audi A4. The Jeep that was entering the adjacent parking lot then overturned in the collision.
The Marino firefighters had to intervene on site to extract the injured from the twisted sheets of metal and to carry out the necessary investigations and close the road by two Carabinieri patrols from the local station.
In total there are five injured, three more serious, transported to the Frascati hospital and the Castelli hospital. They are three boys between 18 and 22 years old, one of whom was driving the Audi A4 towards Marino.
In the Jeep there was a family made up of a father, mother and two boys. The mayor of Castel Gandolfo also went to the site to ascertain the situation. The mayor Alberto De Angelis was near the accident site and rushed to the scene.
The event happened around 9.45 am, the road was reopened after the removal of the vehicles shortly after 11.30 am.
