Brutal attack today in Varese. A 37-year-old woman was slashed with a knife, while her 71-year-old father was fatally wounded with a knife after intervening in defense of her daughter. The person who acted was the woman’s ex-partner, 40 years old, who was immediately arrested on charges of attempted murder and serious injury. The incident occurred shortly before 1pm today in via Ciro Menotti. The attack occurred on the street under the terrified eyes of the mother and wife of the two victims. From initial investigations, it appears that the attacker was forbidden to approach the woman.
The rescue
