The investigations ordered by the Guardia di Finanza by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Santa Maria Capua Vetere also arrive in the south of Pontine: at the center of the investigation are false credits with a social cooperative to evade taxes
The information site “Cronache di Caserta” broke the news. The Financiers, coordinated by the deputy prosecutor Gionata Fiore, proceeded to search two offices of as many professionals: these are the tax consultants and accountants Giuseppe Landa, a 59-year-old from Modnragone, and Pasquale Toscano, a 58-year-old from Minturno, moreover involved years ago in a major operation by the Guardia di Finanza.
The investigative hypothesis is that of having created false tax credits so as to allow the social cooperative MGG Futura, which provides residential nursing care for the elderly, to evade taxes. The searches in the consultants’ offices would be aimed at clarifying this type of operation and would have been oriented towards PCs and other IT devices.
Also under investigation are the two legal representatives of the Futura cooperative based in Francolise and also another person from Rome as the legal representative of CR Appalti, a company in liquidation since September 2022, based in the Capital. This company had interests in the cleaning sector of buildings and, thanks to the accountant from Mondragone Landa, would have benefited from tax compensation.
The amount of the sums brought to the attention of the Fiamme Gialle would amount, for the social coop, to tax credits of 700 thousand euros.
