The Mediaset host admitted that he was not the one who ended the marriage after twenty years together.
It was Sonia Bruganelli who dumped Paolo Bonolis: this is the host’s latest revelation. “I immediately made the decision to separate, it wasn’t easy for me,” Bonolis said in an interview with Corriere della Sera.
«How can you expect a person to do what they no longer want, to feel what they no longer feel, to be what they no longer are? It wasn’t easy for me, but it was right,” she added.
Apparently Sonia Bruganelli, currently a commentator on L’Isola dei Famosi, was no longer in love with her ex-husband. Only a lot of affection and esteem, which remain today: the former spouses have been able to maintain a harmonious relationship for the good of their three common children.
Bonolis is not looking for a new love: «Now I’m fine like this. I am full of friends, I have five children, two grandchildren and a third who will be born in July. If it happens, it will happen. And if it doesn’t happen, as they say in Rome, fat.”
Paolo also announced that his farewell to TV has been postponed: he will remain at Mediaset for another year “as I promised Pier Silvio Berlusconi”.
