Lomagna: today more than yesterday the Liberation must be celebrated

The celebrations of April 25th opened with the celebration of the Holy Mass Lomagna. It was the parish priest Don Andrea Restelli who remembered the anniversary of Liberation Day: “From the point of view of the liturgy today we celebrate San Marco, but together we celebrate the 79th anniversary of the Liberation from Nazi-fascism. This year more than ever I believe we need to celebrate this day.”

The parish priest thus addressed the faithful who filled the benches of the Church dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul, in the presence of representatives of the Associations and Authorities, including the mayor Cristina Citterio and the Mayor of the children Simone Filippo Tagliani: “We all remember those who gave their lives, who fought for the same ideal, which was the same desire to live free, serene and at peace in a democratic way”.
