It’s great Italy at the Madrid Open. Matteo Arnaldi in fact poker drops after Darderi, Sonego and Cobolli, hitting the 2nd round of the Masters 1000 Spanish. The Sanremo player, n°36 in the world, overtook the Australian Christopher O’Connell (67 ATP) with partial scores of 6-4, 6-1 in just over an hour and a quarter of play. After a first set in which the blue was the one who risked the most (despite only one break point saved), he did well to close 6-4 at the first opportunity in the 10th game, in the second partial there was no more history.
