The episode for which the boy was arrested dates back to a few days ago, when the couple returned home and found the broken windows and the 21 year old sleeping. After waking up, he allegedly pointed a piece of glass at the couple and threatened them that he wanted to cut their throats with the sharp object.
At that point the police quickly intervened and arrested him. During the direct trial, the public prosecutor Andrea Petroni asked for the precautionary measure in prison, request accepted by the judge. While awaiting trial, the 21-year-old will remain in prison, away from the couple who, however, fear further reactions from the young man if and when he returns to freedom.
