The Division Cup is blue and blue! Endless emotions at the PlayHall in Riccione in the final between Lecco and Cioli Ariccia. Mister Marcio Moratelli’s Blucelesti won 2-1 and brought the coveted trophy to Lombardy for the first time. Deserved victory considering the many decisive interventions by the Roman goalkeeper Battisti, with Rivella (elected best player of the final) breaking the deadlock in the 13th minute of the second half, the opponent’s immediate equalizer and Valdes’ goal 56″ from the end which sealed the historic victory for the Lecco team, without Kullani and Tortorella due to disqualification and De Donato due to injury. A success that also qualifies them to reach the Super Cup next season, another prestigious showcase that will bring Blucelesti-tinged futsal to the national spotlight.

In the 12th minute Mattaboni was thrown in front of Battisti who saved himself once again, but Lecco took the lead in the 13th minute with a great play by Rivella, who jumped a man on the left, evaded Battisti’s exit and scored the goal. 1-0. Ball in the center, and Teruya, served in front of the goal from the left, scores the immediate 1-1. In the 17th minute another miracle from Battisti on Mattaboni and immediately afterwards on Valdes. With 67″ remaining, Rivella flies to the left but once again has to deal with the opposing goalkeeper. Another 11″ pass and a relaunch of Gattarelli finds Valdes ready for the winning aerial deflection. Cioli Ariccia tries the goalkeeper, but it’s Lecco who’s partying!
