The Rocca Cilento Castle (Lustra-Salerno), in the geographical area where Ancel Benjamin Keys laid the foundations of the Mediterranean diet, a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage site, a source of inspiration for entire generations of nutritionists, will be the scenographic natural theater of Olivitaly Medan event dedicated to the many fans of extra virgin olive oil but also to those who want to treat themselves to an all-round sensorial experience of extra virgin olive oil. The event that will take place from Saturday 4 to Monday 6 May proposes a large one plan which will unfold through a series of conferences that will touch on topics such as health, tourism, catering and the future of a product that is talked about a lot but that few actually know. The profile of the participants is high, practically all the most important players in the sector, gathered in what promises to be the most important event dedicated to Evo in the Centre-South organized under the aegis of the Campania Region and the Department of Agriculture.
A series of masterclasses will offer visitors the opportunity to discover the aromas and flavors of some of the most awarded Italian extra virgin olive oils which can be tasted in a journey of taste paired with bread, garden and sea products, desserts.
Olivitaly Med: Stefano’s dream

A sort of hub capable of satisfying the needs of experts but without forgetting to offer this precious product also to simple enthusiasts and novices. For us and for all our collaborators it also represents the opportunity to realize the dream of the head of the family Stefano, who recently passed away, the true creator of this event who also has the merit of bringing Evo back to Cilento, home of the Mediterranean Diet of which the extra virgin olive oil is the absolute protagonist”.
OlivitalyMed also offers a business connotation, with buyers from different parts of the world who will be able to communicate with the producers present.
