The fire brigade’s new rescue dinghy is in the water, which will be used for interventions at sea, particularly when the fire brigade aquatic garrison starts in the summer months. Late yesterday morning the launch of the aquatic vehicle in the port area, a vehicle that had been “revealed” for the first time on the occasion of the Santa Barbara celebration, last December 4th. Present were the firefighters of Civitanova and some of their colleagues who arrived from the command of Macerata, the regional director of the firefighters Cristina D’Angelo and Don Sergio Criscione, parish priest of Fontespina, who gave his blessing to the aquatic vehicle of the firefighters fire. The new dinghy, which has an operational capacity of up to 6 miles, is docked on the pier of the emergency vehicles, where those of the Port Authority are also located and the second, larger dinghy, with an operational capacity of up to 12 miles, of the fire fighters. Yesterday, in the barracks of the fire brigade detachment, in via Aldo Moro, some rooms were also identified which will act as an operational base for the canine units always ready to intervene in case of emergency, and for the drones, a new reality that it is proving very useful in emergencies.
