The requests of the mayors of the hill were accepted. Starting from March 30th, the Gassino consortium ecocentre, in Strada delle Guine, will no longer be open two days a week, but three.
Ecocentre: third day of opening
This is to meet the needs and problems that, on several occasions, including through social media, the citizens of the area had expressed.
Precisely following these reports, about a month ago, a formal letter was sent to Seta by the first citizens of the hill asking for the establishment of at least a third opening day, useful to at least get rid of the queues that formed in especially on Saturdays.
Therefore, starting from next April 30th the Gassino eco-centre will be open for three days, but on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and no longer on Wednesday as it was before.

Yes, because the Guine road, which is currently the only access route to the Ecocentre, despite having been repaired by the Administration, presents significant problems, linked above all to the non-asphalting which, in case of rain, is cause of many misunderstandings.

However, the opening of the eco-centre represented a “goal” that had been awaited for a long time, to provide a service to the municipalities of the hill that was in line with those of the Consortium area. The Guine road structure is available to all municipalities, but in particular to the hilly ones in our area.
Now, the hope is that with the establishment of the third opening day the situation will improve. The choice to include a closing day between the opening days, that of Monday, Wednesday and Friday, was not made by chance, but was evaluated precisely to allow the vehicles present inside the eco-centre to be able to go and carry out the emptying. . In fact, it must be considered that, due to the road conformity of the Guinea, the passage of a car and a heavy vehicle in the opposite direction occurs with great difficulty.
