After Inter’s victory of the scudetto the mayor of Milan, Giuseppe Sala, who is a huge Nerazzurri fan, will invite the team to Palazzo Marino, the seat of the Municipality. And the idea is also to award the club the Ambrogino d’oro, the highest honor of the Municipality.

«We will invite Inter to Palazzo Marino. To avoid controversy given my interism, I’ll say straight away that it’s what we also did for Milan when they won the scudetto – he specified on the sidelines of the launch of Cecilia Strada’s campaign in the European elections -, except that it was the last day championship and the players had booked planes, so we weren’t able to do it.”

Meanwhile, the match between Inter and Torino, previously scheduled for Saturday 27 April at 3.00 pm, will be played on Sunday 28 April at 12.30 pm. The Lega Serie A made this known in a note, explaining that it was a decision born at the request of the Prefect of Milan. The postponement of the match will therefore allow the Nerazzurri to start the celebrations for winning the Scudetto at the end of the match against the Granata, with the open bus that will leave from San Siro to arrive in Piazza Duomo. There the footballers will be the protagonists from a terrace overlooking the square, for a party that will continue after the spontaneous one last night.
