This afternoon there was a pile-up on the Naples ring road involving eight cars. The accident occurred at kilometer 16 in the Capodimonte tunnel towards Capodichino. At the moment there would be at least one injury. Police and medical aid arrived on the scene.
Crash between 4 trucks on the motorway, ten kilometers of queue in the Caserta section
A serious accident occurred between San Vittore and Caianello, heading south. According to what the Autostrade company reports, there would be around 10 kilometers of queue: 4 seriously injured people would have been involved and taken to hospital. The firefighters and the provincial command of Caserta and the Ares personnel at 118 are working on site: the injured have been sorted into the hospitals of the Campania and Lazio.
