Green/Left Alliance and Civics write to Pd and M5S: “Urgent table, let’s reconsider the choice of mayor”

They ask for an urgent convocation of a political table to indicate the mayoral candidate – united for the center-left – of Termoli. They are the Green and Left Alliance and Civic Movements. They addressed, with a letter, the national secretariat of the Democratic Party and the head of local authorities of the Democratic Party and then the regional secretariat and the city commissioner of the Democratic Party. However, among the recipients there is also the 5 Star Movement (national and local).

Dearest,
in consideration of the press reports, which were confirmed in the informal dialogue with your local representatives, of the desire of the national bodies of your parties to reconsider the indication of the candidate for mayor of Termoli previously made; in consideration of the expressed desire to broaden the perimeter of the alternative coalition to the center-right also to the parties and civic forces that we represent; we ask for the urgent ad horas convening of a political working table, with the aim of identifying a unitary mayoral candidate.
Aware of the urgency of offering the city of Termoli and its citizens a solid proposal ready to immediately enter the heart of the electoral challenge, we now declare our willingness to verify the opportunity to choose the candidate for mayor of Termoli also among political profiles expression of your parties and civic movements.
