Tomorrow Zavtra ODV mourns the death in war of two of its Ukrainian “boys”, Sasha and Ruslan

Tomorrow Zavtra ODV, an association based in Darfo Boario Terme and which has been working for Ukraine, its orphanages and the neediest population for over 20 years, is in mourning. News has arrived in recent hours of the death on the war front of two of his “boys”, Sasha and Ruslan, 40 year olds who at the end of the 80s were children of the orphanage and who were also hosted in Vallecamonica several times for health holidays for Ukrainian children organized by the association.

After the attack on Chernihiv with 18 dead and around seventy injured which hit the capital city of the region where most of DomaniZavtra’s support initiatives for the Ukrainian population are concentrated, the sad news of the two losses arrived in Darfo , albeit with few and fragmentary details regarding their disappearance.

“For us Sasha and Ruslan were part of the DomaniZavtra family, many people from the association had remained in contact with them. For this reason, despite the difficulties of the moment, the association is working to support their families and their children, who today are orphans like their fathers were”.

President Diego Simonini states in a video: “It is one of the saddest days since the start of the war. We will continue to send aid, to help those who are in difficulty and find themselves in this absurd situation which makes no sense in continuing. Thanks to all those who have supported the situation over the years and to those who allow us to help with the complexities of collecting and distributing goods. We must continue to be there even in this difficult moment.”
