Urgent civil protection interventions are active in response to the serious fires and the exceptional heat wave which also hit the island of Pantelleria starting from 23 July 2023 (notice available here).
THE STATEMENTS OF THE MAYOR OF ANCONA
The municipal administration, in close cooperation with the relevant authorities and relief organizations, has initiated a series of measures aimed at ensuring the safety of citizens and restoring the damaged areas.
Among the actions undertaken there are immediate rescue, assistance and support interventions for the affected families, as well as reclamation and restoration operations in the areas affected by the fires.
Furthermore, it is possible to request financial support by submitting the application and the related B1 and C1 forms by 7 May 2024. These measures aim to provide financial and logistical assistance to those who have suffered damage due to adverse events.
I invite all citizens who need support to apply and actively collaborate with local authorities to ensure a prompt recovery and reconstruction of the affected communities.
