Anti-scam meeting in Magliano: about fifty citizens taking a “lesson” from the Carabinieri

Last Wednesday 10 April, in the afternoon, numerous citizens participated in an information meeting open to all, organized by the Municipality and the local Carabinieri Command, to defend themselves against scams at home. Also through a series of slides, the police described the methods of the main types of scams, warning the people of Magliano and dispensing useful advice to follow in order not to run into unpleasant situations. Mayor Marco Bailo, present at the event, on behalf of the municipal administration, thanks the speakers: the commander of the Carabinieri Company of Fossano, Captain Alessandro Cantarella, the commander of the Carabinieri station of Carrù, Maria Grazia Piperis, and Brigadier Demartis. «We attended a decidedly interesting meeting, which was attended by around fifty people, who then also asked several questions to the experts – comments the mayor -. An information hour of the highest value and an event that should be repeated every year, so that more and more people can participate.”
