An accident occurred this morning, April 19, on the Western Ring Road: two women were injured, and there were queues and slowdowns.
Accident on the Western Ring Road
BUCCINASCO – Queues along the Western Ring Road, heading north, and traffic still paralyzed in some points, due to an accident that occurred a few minutes before 9am on the stretch that crosses Buccinasco and the industrial area of Rovido.
Two women involved in the accident
For reasons yet to be clarified, two cars collided along the ring road following a rear-end collision. Two women were involved in the accident: one 24 years old and the other 45 years old. The conditions seemed critical at first but fortunately when the rescuers arrived the two women had only superficial wounds: they were taken to the emergency room for further checks, in code green.
Queues and slowdowns along the Western Ring Road
There were queues and slowdowns along the ring road. Traffic also on the Northern Ring Road, in the Bollate area, due to an accident between several vehicles which occurred around 9.30. Two people were involved but fortunately the conditions were not serious.
