Continuing education agencies, meeting with vice president Galateo
Last April 16, the vice-president and provincial councilor for Italian culture Marco Galateo met with the heads of the permanent education agencies: Upad Foundation, Palladio Study Center, Cedocs, Cls, Cesfor and Musica Blu.
“I thank the Agencies for the work they do” said vice-president Galateo, “the focal point is the importance of lifelong learning. This concept underlines how learning is not a path limited to the first years of life or school education, but is a continuous process that accompanies the individual in every phase of his existence”.
“On an individual level”, added provincial councilor Galateo, “lifelong education allows people to acquire new skills, adapt to changes, improve their quality of life and fully realize their potential. In an era in which the rapidity of technological, social and economic changes requires continuous updates and flexibility, lifelong education becomes an essential tool for individual empowerment. On a collective level, it contributes to the development of the provincial territory in various ways. It promotes the creation of a more informed, aware and participatory society, capable of tackling global and local challenges with greater competence and resilience. Furthermore, it stimulates innovation and economic growth, providing businesses and organizations with a qualified workforce that is adaptable to market needs.”
Finally, yesterday’s meeting reiterated the importance of investing in lifelong education as a fundamental tool for the sustainable and inclusive development of the provincial territory. “The commitment of lifelong learning agencies not only enhances the potential of each individual, but also contributes to building a more resilient, prosperous and cohesive community,” concluded Vice President Galateo.
