Green light for the refinancing of tenders for more than that 38 million from the Rural Development Program (PSR) 2014-2022 accountable until 2025.
«The financial allocation of the tenders recently opened on the PSR is being increased – explains the vice president of the Liguria Region and councilor with responsibility for Agriculture Alessandro Piana – for supporting agriculture and inland municipalities thanks to the economies that were generated following renunciations by beneficiaries who did not complete the planned investments. These resources will increase the allocation of tenders for which there is strong support, in order to complete the financing of eligible applications, with the aim of improving and accelerating the use of European funds. The major increases, agreed together with trade associations and Anci on the basis of objective needs as monitored by the regional offices, will concern for example the financing of young farmers, investments for the development of agricultural and forestry companies, infrastructures for rural populations, the prevention of forest fires and investments in the development of agritourism. All strategic measures both for businesses and for the protection of the environment which agriculture safeguards.”
The activity of sending the concession documents will be immediate and will be completed by the summer.
