CONFAPI, BADONI CLASS 3C WINS THE “THE SMALL BUSINESS I WOULD LIKE” COMPETITION – LeccoFM – Visual Radio Lecco

Lecco, 18 April 2024 – La class 3C of the Badoni Institute of Lecco wins the first edition of the competition “The small business I would like” with his project “Helmit, the helmet of the future”, an innovative device that contains all the safety devices for workers and is built with sustainable materials and powered by solar panels. A project for which the students, supported by the entrepreneur Andrea Beri of the Ita of Calolziocorte and the teacher Silvia Galassothey also created the prototype.

Second place for the 2A lower secondary class of the Don Piero Pointinger Institute of La Valletta Brianza with the project “A space for me, for you, for everyone” dedicated to the creation of a meeting place for all ages, supported by Giancarlo Ripamonti of Gicar of Merate and the teacher Daniela Colombo.

Third place for “Drive in cinema” created by the class 3CSUE of the Bertacchi Institute of Leccoside by side by Claudio Pigazzini of Sepam of Sala al Barro and the teacher Paola Provenzano.

These are the three winning classes proclaimed this morning at the Cenacolo Francescano theater in Lecco where the final of the “The small business I would like” competition organized by Confapi Lecco Sondrio to celebrate its 75 years of foundation was held. A packed theater for the last act of the project which involved 450 students, divided into 22 classes and supported by as many entrepreneurs.

The event was opened by the president of Confapi Lecco Sondrio Enrico Vavassori who thanked all the participants: “This first edition went beyond our expectations in terms of participation and quality of content, I thank all the entrepreneurs and schools who joined the project and I congratulate the students for what you have achieved, you amazed the jury with your commitment and creativity that you put into your works. This competition has put you in competition, unfortunately in life and work it is a situation that will often happen to you. However, if you are not among the winners today, you must not experience this result as a defeat or failure. The important thing is to have participated and had this experience together with your classmates and teachers”.

They then went on stage Laura Silipignipresident of the Confapi Lecco Sondrio Youth Group, representing the entrepreneurs who joined the competition, while the explorer and motivator Alex Belliniguest of the day, encouraged the kids to believe in themselves and follow their dreams, without fearing failures, but rather to take them as lessons.

On the stage for the awards ceremony, the leaders of Confapi Lecco Sondrio presented the plaque to the three winning classes who will then receive three thousand euros (first place), two thousand euros (second place) and one thousand euros (third place): sums intended for the purchase of school supplies.

There jury composed of entrepreneurs Davide Gianola and Alice Dell’Oca, Anna Masciadri (communications manager Confapi Lecco Sondrio), Katia Sala (journalist) and Maurizio Fiora (communications expert) thus motivated the three choices.

“For the absolutely new project, for its concreteness and feasibility, for having brought a possible solution to a highly topical problem in the world of work at a national level, for its 100% relevance to the objectives of the competition, for its completeness in presentation, for fully respecting the five criteria of the regulation and above all for having created the prototype of the product, the jury declares the winner of the first edition of the “The small business I would like” competition on “Helmit – The helmet of the future” project created by the 3CI class of the Badoni institute in Lecco”.

“For the excellent work in approaching the project by analyzing negative and positive aspects of the various ideas proposed by the class and then deciding on the final idea to be implemented, for the collaboration with local entities to understand where to place the company, for the purpose social gathering of people of different ages, for the wide range of activities proposed, for the originality of the contents and their presentation, for the excellent communication and creativity aspects, the jury awards second place to project “A space for me, for you, for everyone” created by the 2A class of the Don Piero Pointinger Institute of Valletta Brianza”.

“For the consistency demonstrated with the objectives of the competition, for the creation of the detailed video presentation in representing and describing an entrepreneurial project. For the 360-degree research commitment in finding information and documenting themselves to create their “small business”, for the feasibility and collective commitment demonstrated by the class and for having conceived an original project in the Lecco area and with aggregative purposes, the jury awards third place to “Drive in cinema” project of the 3C SUE class of the Bertacchi Institute in Lecco”.
