The Larciano team wins the first team victory in its history, being in its second race of the sporting activity, which began at the Il Ciocco Rally last month.
The first arrives, great satisfaction for Laserprom 015. The Larcianese team, in its second commitment after the debut a month ago at the Il Ciocco Rally, achieved the victory of the Scuderie Cup on the roads of the Trofeo Maremma, an event valid for the Rally Cup of Zone 7 which involved – over the weekend – the roads of the Follonica hinterland. Nine crews lined up by the association: a communion of intent that guaranteed the record in the team competition, the first in the sporting activity of the newly formed Pistoia group.
Fourth position overall, upon returning to the wheel of the Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo after five months, for Roberto Tucci. The driver, supported by Pietro Micalizzi, stood out at the top of the rankings, confirming, kilometer after kilometre, his feeling with the car. In the top-ten, from tenths overall, Mauro Zurri and Simone Gabbricci, also on the seats of the Skoda Fabia Rally2 and in their first seasonal commitment. Victory in the S1600 class and eleventh position overall for Francesco Paolini and Gianluca Fratiglioni, on Renault Clio S1600 of the Laserprom 015 team. On the third step of the podium in the Rally4 class were Lorenzo Sardelli and Luigi Giovacchini, on Peugeot 208 while the A7 class won on Renault Clio Williams, they were Fabio Spinelli and Lorenzo Fratta. A0 class victory for Davide Rombai and Antonio De Marco, on Fiat Seicento, with Paolo Turrini and Francesco Del Viva who finished in second place in the hard-fought A7 class, on Renault Clio Williams. Unfortunate retirements for Massimo Boldrini and Michele Brogi, present on Renault Clio Williams and for Andrea Guidi and Marco Carmignani, on Citroën C2 RSP.
In just over a week, Laserprom 015 will be among the teams called to express themselves on the streets of the Rallye Elba, the inaugural event of the International Rally Cup.
