‘Private’ tourists scared by bad weather but hotels with excellent occupancy thanks to the 10 thousand volleyball players of the Young Volleyball tournament, which crowned the long weekend of April 25th, filling, in addition to the 200 courts on the beaches, also hotels, pubs and bars in the city. Together with the Isola dei Platani. “In the archives an incredible Young Volley on the beach powered by Cisalfa Sport – comment from Kiklos – the three days of youth beach volleyball which brought 10,000 volleyball players from all over Italy to the beaches of Bellaria Igea Marina. A riot of colors and slam dunks: 1,500 teams they competed in 200 playing fields. Dozens of buses crossed the city and beyond, having occupied more than 90 structures between Bellaria Igea Marina and the surrounding towns”. “Not just beaches – they add from Aia Federalberghi –, the restaurant activities also worked at full capacity for three days, together with pubs and public establishments. Good results also for the city’s commerce, with the pedestrian areas of Bellaria and Igea at certain times truly overflowing with guests”.
“The walk along the 22 beach establishments that we occupy – comments Giacomo Gentili, Kiklos – is a more unique than rare injection of energy and adrenaline, the essence that has driven us to do this job with passion for almost thirty years”.
