The provincial emergency management plan for the risk of forest fires for the summer of 2024 was signed by the prefect of Oristano Salvatore Angieri.
Angieri underlined that the update of the plan “has become necessary since the month of April characterized by high temperatures and strong winds which facilitate the ignition of fires”.
“Emergency planning”, recalled the prefect, “is the necessary tool that allows us to safely face the summer season in terms of organizing the response of state forces in the event of an emergency event”.
The document regulates the coordination activity of the prefect in fighting fires, for the purpose of more effective control of the territory.
