The RiVela project started with theobjective of improving the employability of disadvantaged people through the activation of social inclusion internships, dfter the first phase of membership by 159 citizens who submitted an application to participate. Of these, 132 were admitted with a participation of 43% women and 57% men. The most represented age group is that of the under 35s, followed by candidates between 36 and 50 years old. The project is aimed at weak, disadvantaged individuals at risk of exclusion from the labor market in the care of local social services residents in Lucca and the surrounding municipalities and offers a real opportunity for training and work placement.

After a phase of orientation and training of the participants, the project is now opening L’opportunities for companies host free internships, in optics of the strengthening of the public-private territorial network, dedicated to the topic of job placement, true wealth for a territory dhe Plain of Lucca. The project is managed by the Municipality of Lucca, leader identified by the Zonal Conference of Mayors of the Lucca plain, Development and Cohesion Fund (FSC) – public tender from the Tuscany Region.

The next monitoring and verification meeting is scheduled for April 17th at 3:00 pm at the Civic Center of S. Vito, an opportunity to continue in the implementation phases of the project and the involvement of the profit and non-profit world of our territory.
