Controversy breaks out in Carmagnola over the safety of the new roundabout in via Chiffi/De Gasperi after the accident between two vehicles yesterday. Nothing serious, but the episode has reignited the controversy between those who consider that change to the road to be unsafe and those who instead defend it. The centre-left opposition attacked by saying that “The dynamics lead us to believe that the clash would not have occurred without the new “safety” of the intersection”. Councilor Pampaloni instead replied: “Only sterile controversies, it was a rear-end collision due to failure to respect the safety distance. The roundabout establishes the signs to be respected, that is, you must give priority to the left and you must slow down. The concept must be to slow down at intersections.
