In recent days, thieves hit a house in Cavagnolo.

The commitment of the administrations
The municipal administrations and the police forces have started a very close collaboration over time in order to be able to combat these situations.
In Castagneto Po in recent months, a meeting was also held, organized by the local administration, between citizens and the Carabinieri of Chivasso with the aim of clarifying and understanding how to act when faced with these situations. Here, in fact, Civil Protection volunteers carry out monitoring activities in the area.
A voluntary action that was willingly taken by the citizens who appreciated the work of this group of people. There have also been situations in which thieves acted even with the presence of people inside the home.
It is important to underline that this is not a patrol or similar interventions, but just an additional control eye that monitors the country.
Furthermore, it is the Municipality’s firm intention to continue with the adoption of video cameras so that there are further points where there is constant monitoring which can therefore serve both as a deterrent and therefore discourage thieves and fraudsters and to identify any perpetrators of these criminal acts.
Only a few weeks ago it was the turn of Brusasco and Verrua Savoia to receive the unwelcome visit of thieves while in February the thieves visited San Sebastiano da Po.
According to the latest information, thieves take possession of gold and precious items, leaving valuable bags or electronic equipment.
