Serious accident at the Veterinary Hospital: Woman injured by a horse in Lodi
On the afternoon of Thursday 28 March, a tragic accident shook theveterinary hospital of theState University of Milan in the detachment of Praises. A young one 29 year old woman was seriously injured after being thrown and hit by a horse while at the facility.
The exact circumstances of the accident have yet to be fully clarified, but it appears that the victim, while caring for the animal, was struck suddenly and violently. The horse would have it unhorsed and subsequently hit her with his hooves, causing serious trauma to various parts of her body.
Fortunately, i colleagues of the young woman have reacted promptly to the emergency situation, promptly calling the 118 health service. The medical and paramedical operators intervened quickly, providing the necessary first aid before urgently transferring her to theSan Matteo hospital in Pavia.
The girl is currently hospitalized in serious conditions, but according to medical sources his life is not in danger. However, his state of health remains under close observation and in the coming days we will try to fully understand the dynamics of the accident and the severity of the injuries sustained.
