WEDNESDAY 10 APRIL SECOND INFORMATION MEETING IN THE LOCAL POLICE HEADQUARTERS OF ALESSANDRIA AND THE LISTENING DESK FOR SCAM VICTIMS IS ACTIVE
project to prevent and combat fraud against the elderly and vulnerable people, with actions to raise awareness among citizens and training for people who hold “sentinel” roles in contact with potential victims.
The “Together safe” project continues with the organization of the second training meeting on Wednesday 10 April from 6.00 pm at the Local Police Headquarters in Alessandria, with the aim of preventing scams and protecting victims; is promoted by the Municipal Administration of Alessandria through its Municipal Police Command and is implemented in close synergy with the Prefecture of Alessandria and in collaboration with the Human Art association of Alessandria.
This meeting, like the previous one which took place on Wednesday 27 March, attended by Deputy Mayor Marica Barrera, is aimed at all people who work in contact with elderly people or vulnerable people, as well as all those who are interested in having more information and be better equipped to support and help relatives and friends.
During each meeting, psychological dynamics and manipulations are discussed, addressing the so-called experiences and emotional difficulties that victims may experience, furthermore information will be provided on methods of self-protection and who to turn to in case of need.

Furthermore, the “Listening desk for scam victims” has been activated, with in-person reception on Mondays from 2pm to 3pm at the Human Art headquarters in via Volturno 31, but to request the first interview it is necessary write to the email [email protected] or call 0131 481159.
The listening takes place in a protected and confidential manner and the service, which is naturally free like all the actions of the project, is aimed at those who feel the need, following some form of fraud suffered or attempted against them, to be listened to to activate strategies for a motivated reaction.
