“We are here. This is a thread that unites us and will keep us united”, thus the candidate of Offida Solidarietà e Democracy and outgoing mayor, Luigi Massa, made his debut on the stage of the Serpente Aureo, on the afternoon of April 26, on the occasion of the presentation of his list .
“After 5 years the legislative process comes to an end, with difficult situations that put us to the test but which we overcame together. Now let’s plan the Offida that will be, with pragmatism, seriousness, responsibility and humility. Offida Solidarity and Democracy will continue to make Offida great with a structure recognized by the citizens”.
Massa then presented in random order, all the protagonists of the next electoral round, the people who have decided to make themselves available dispassionately and who want to try to build the Offida that will be.
“The support of all of you makes Offida stronger – continues Massa, addressing the audience – our city does not need low horizons, but a high panorama. These people I have chosen think like this, like all of us.”
The candidate for Mayor chose the extraction method to call the members of the list and asked each of them the question, “Why did you decide to run?”, then invited them to officially sign their candidacy.
Among the names we find those of Isabella Bosano and Davide Butteri, councilors of the current legislature.

Simone Perozzi, 37 year old building contractor, married with a child: “I don’t see a reason why a person shouldn’t engage in social life. If everyone did something, the result would be enormous.”
Claudia Falcioni, 59 year old employee, married with children: “An experience that I feel I want to face”.
Roberto Barbizzi, 42 years old hotelier and working as secretary in the Offida United sports club “I had no doubts, the moment in life has arrived in which a person can give to the community. Proud to stand alongside Massa.”
Isabella Bosano, 50 years old, lawyer, married with 1 child: “I accepted the envy of running again to make a contribution to a new team that is approaching an administrative commitment for the first time. I make myself available to others. Then I would like to inaugurate the school complex.”
Stefano D’Angelo, 43 years old, postman, winemaker, farmer, married and father of two children and representative of the Communist Refoundation Club of Offida: “I want to be there and bring our experience. My roots are here in Offida. Offida gave me the identity and I want to try to reciprocate this honor.”
Valerio Pacchiarotti 34 years old: “At the beginning I was afraid of making a big commitment. Then I said to myself, why not? I love my city, full of monuments: I studied cultural heritage, I thought I could contribute with some ideas.”
Simona Fioravanti, 41 years old, post office employee and representative of Coerenza for Offida. She is originally from Capradosso, but she has lived in Offida for years. “Five years ago I presented myself with another list, but as time passed the comparison faded. I believe that the enrichment received in this journey should not be lost, so I will continue to work for the community with a team in which there is discussion. I found freedom in this group.”
Davide Butteri, 40 years old freelancer, married with two children: “I’m running again out of a sense of responsibility. In the last 5 years there have been critical moments for the legislature, such as Covid, so we cannot leave unfinished works half done”.
Marica Cataldi, 42 years old, a partner and two children: “My home is the theater and after a lot of work (with Gad’A, ed.) we saw it full again. I accepted because I felt obliged to give my children an example. It’s important to roll up your sleeves for your community.”
Fabio Amabili, 45 year old engineer, married with 1 child: “I gave my availability because making myself available to the community gives great satisfaction.”
Mauro Talamonti, 40 years old quality control manager, married with 1 child “For me, the candidacy is an opportunity for growth, I make my ability to adapt available”.
Silvia Caronna, 31 years old pediatric nurse. Born and raised in Turin. She has been frequenting Offida since the age of 8, for holidays, until she decided to move there permanently. “I was the one who told Massa that I was available. I hope that the vision of a candidate who has lived in a big city can be useful to the Offida community.”
