The literary, musical and theatrical marathon for the flood returns on Thursday 16 May, at 5.30 pm, in front of the cathedral. A civil and cultural oration one year after the tragic May.
A contest will be launched to create a mural in Faenza on the occasion of the next MEI 2024. The work will be entitled “I do not forget”.
The Marathon had already been organized last December 30th. The cultural event is coordinated by the Coordination of Writers and Publishers of Faenza and the Union and organized by the Solaroli Theater Company and the Meeting of Independent Labels, in collaboration with Museo Tramonti, Casa della Musica, Tempo al Libro, Molino Scodellino, Campanini Audio and many others reality
The afternoon will open with a video testimony from Ceff and a song by Mariasole Chiari. It will then be the turn of Chiara Guardigli, psychotherapist, followed by the accordion of Alvio Focaccia and the Canterini Romagnoli Choir.
We continue with the opening to readings with the theater director Michele Gaudenzi and then the writers Mirka Tabanelli and Rosanna Pasi. The music of Claudio Toschi will alternate.
Afterwards the readings of the writers Antonina D’Angelo Vento, with Riccardo Falcetta, and Giovanni Battista Guidi to arrive at an experimental piece by Aga. Then the writers Giuseppe Toschi and Claudia Cincotti, with a song by the singer-songwriter Martino Chieffo, Antonella Fenati and Beppe Boldrin and the singer-songwriter Isabella, winner of the Award dedicated to Lucio Dalla as Young Emergent; Paolo Melandri and Fabio Mongardi on the notes of Michele Fontana of the Camerata degli Mutinati.
The text by Matteo Piraccini and the songs of the Cantastorie di Romagna and the Canterini Romagnoli will close.
At 7pm reunion of Luti Chroma, historic rock band from Bologna from the Skiantos era, who come together for the occasion to present the unreleased song on the theme of the flood entitled Onda d’Urto.
At the end, some representatives of the Coordination will join in the procession at the Mud Ceremony parade, organized by Menoventi
