FREE COURSE FOR PERSONAL ASSISTANCE EMPLOYEES

The Friuli Venezia Giulia Region has therefore made known a training and work opportunity in the Healthcare and Assistance sector, thanks to the free course “Personal assistance workers”.

The training course is on company order and is aimed atacquisition of minimum skills to support social and health workers in assisting fragile people.

Through the lessons, both theoretical and practical, knowledge will be deepened in the following areas:

• socio-cultural,
• psychological,
• operational technician.

At the end of the course the trained people will have to: ensure the satisfaction of basic needs of the assisted person, alongside the other professional figures of the work team.

Fixed-term and full-term hires expected.

RECIPIENTS

The free course Personal assistance workers is open to 12 participants in possession of following requirements:

• middle school diploma or fulfillment of the right-duty to education;
• knowledge of the Italian language at least at A2 level.

PROCEDURE, DURATION OF THE COURSE AND CERTIFICATE

The course will have the total duration of 300 hours of which:

• 210 hours of theory;
• 90 hours of practice.

The theory hours will be held at the INDAR headquarters in Udinewhile the internship hours will take place at headquarters of the Zaffiro group of Tarcento e Martignacco (in the province of Udine).

At the end of the course, suitable students will obtain theCertificate of attendance which constitutes training credit for the possible subsequent achievement of the qualification of social and healthcare worker.
