The latest episode of ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no yaiba the Pillar Training’ aired today
The final episode of ‘Demon Slayer: kimetsu no yaiba the training of the pillars‘ aired today. With it comes the announcement of a trilogy of films, which will cover the span of Infinity Castle. Crunchyroll also announced that the films will be shown exclusively in theaters around the world.
This fourth season debuted on Fuji TV on May 12 of this year with a one-hour special, concluding today, June 30, with an episode of the same length.
Japanese cinemas screened the first episode, along with the last of the third, during an event held on February 2, 2024. This special, ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Towards the Pillar Training‘, then arrived in Italy on 22 February.
Demon Slayer Season 3, ‘The village of katana smiths‘, was released in April 2023, and consists of eleven episodes. Crunchyroll It aired simultaneously with Japan.
The first season of the anime based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotōge it aired starting in April 2019. In Italy, the rights to the first season were purchased by Dynit, who broadcast it subtitled on the platform VVVVID. Later, the series received an Italian dubbing.
Following the first season, the production of a film was announced, which would cover the arc of Mugen train. The film was released in Japanese theaters on October 16, 2020, while in Italy it arrived on July 13, 2021, on Amazon Prime Video.
This arc also received a seven-episode serialized adaptation, ‘The Mugen Train Chapter‘, released in October 2021. They act as a bridge and the first part of the second season. The second part, titled ‘The Pleasure Quarter Chapter‘, which aired starting in December of the same year, however, adapts chapters 67 to 97 of the manga.
