Fans are waiting for Assassin’s Creed Shadowsbut apparently the Ubisoft series will also return in new remake.
Once the last episodes of the franchise have been archived (which you can find on Amazon at a low price), the saga of the assassins will apparently return to the past.
After it emerged that Assassin’s Creed Shadows It will in fact be the first “next-gen only” chapter of the series, it seems that the surprises are not over.
As also reported by VGCIndeed, Yves GuillemotCEO of Ubisoft, has confirmed that several remakes of Assassin’s Creed.
In an interview with Ubisoft’s website, Guillemot was asked what Assassin’s Creed players can expect from the series in the future.
Guillemot responded that the series will see a variety of games in the coming years, including numerous remakes.
«First of all, players can be excited about some remakes, which will allow us to revisit some of the games we have created in the past and modernize them»said Guillemot.
«There are worlds in some of our older Assassin’s Creed games that are still extremely rich»
It’s still: “Secondly, to answer your question, there will be a great variety of experiences. The goal is for Assassin’s Creed games to come out with more regularitybut not that they are the same experience every year.”
«There are a lot of cool things coming, including Assassin’s Creed Hexe, which we announced and which will be a very different game from Assassin’s Creed Shadows. I think we will surprise people.
Last year, a report claimed that Ubisoft had started development on a remake of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag.
Kotaku’s sources have said that the remake of the 2013 cross-gen PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 game is in its early stages and won’t be complete for “at least a few years.”
Although Ubisoft has never created a new game from scratch, Assassin’s Creedhas released numerous remasters in the past.
In 2016 it was published Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collectionwhich offers remastered versions of Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood e Assassin’s Creed: Revelations.
This was followed in 2018 by a remastered version of Assassin’s Creed Rogue.
Anyway, a few weeks ago the producer of Assassin’s Creed Shadows announced that the game world will have an amount of graphic detail never seen before in a game in the series.
