BMW, the detail no one noticed: they’re not making it anymore

BMW is known to have produced many luxury models over the years, but there is a detail that few have noticed.

When you own one BMW you have a car of excellent value in your hands, with this brand that has given life to excellent sports cars. The M range is without a shadow of a doubt the version that has the opportunity to give life to the best possible realities on the market, with these however presenting a series of very particular details.

It’s the small additions and changes that often make the difference when purchasing a model of this scale, with customers wanting to feel so pampered. Among the best M cars of the BMW, despite having a very low price and therefore within the reach of many buyers, there is the 2 Series Coupé, known as the M240i xDrive.

We are faced with a model that comes with a length of 455 cm, a width of 184 cm and a height of 140 cm, with a total weight of 1690 kg. The engine mounted internally is an exceptional 2996-displacement V6 which thus allows the engine to deliver a maximum of 374 horsepower. This way its peak speed is 250 km/h, with the cost of the car starting from 59,650 Euros. However, there is a detail that only a few had noticed.

BMW M240i: looks like the Chinese model

Among the various characteristics that clearly indicate the fact that we are dealing with a BMW sports car is the fact that it is part of the M range. It can be seen with the front badge which is positioned on the kidney grilles, but what caused a sensation is that for the M240i there was no this accessory.

Once again, even after the new updates, there seemed to be no badge for this version M, but this is only found at the bottom of the grille, towards the base of the bumper. Certainly not the position to improve to show to the general public what is a highly respectable trademark of the house BMW.

However, there is also a clear motivation for this, with the M240i which has active slats that can be opened or closed at will, so with the badge in that position it would have had to modify these slats. There BMW however he stated, as reported Motor1, that the badge was proposed in that way, given how it was there for two years in the Chinese market, with sales going well and therefore bringing excellent results.
