the OLED gaming monitor with a double soul

LG’s new monitor is a candidate to be one of the most interesting gaming displays of the year. The reason is simple, if until now you have always had to make a choice between quality and update frequency, now it is no longer necessary. This is thanks to the double operating mode designed by the Korean company, which offers the possibility to choose between the quality of 4K and the high refresh rate of Full HD.
Just press a button and the 32GS95UE changes soula truly useful novelty for all gaming enthusiasts, who can also enjoy the contrast and quality that has always characterized OLED panels.

Not just technology, also design

LG UltraGear 32GS95UE presents itself with cut and minimal lines, which make it ideal for creating a high-level gaming station. The frames are reduced to a minimum on all sides, furthermore the central stand integrates a double-purpose LED strip.

On the one hand, color allows you to match the monitor to your setup in the best way, on the other it offers superior visual comfort when playing in a dark environment, tiring your eyes less. A practical cable holder is also installed in the stand, to always have everything in order.
LG UltraGear 32GS95UE is a high-end monitor and you can immediately understand this from the possible customizations in its positioning. The stand allows you to rotate the monitor and tilt it, it is then possible to adjust its height and also place it in vertical mode, a mode of use that allows for both work and recreational use. Elegance and flexibility blend perfectly for a monitor that pleases the eye even when turned off, but which when turned on proves to be simply exceptional.

The best OLED technology

LG’s new OLED gaming monitors are also available in sizes from 27 to 45 inches, but we believe that the 32″ version represents an excellent compromise between viewing space and ease of installation: larger dimensions would have increased the sense even more immersion, but not everyone has the space for a 42 or more inch monitor, there are other alternatives at LG for this.

Dual Mode is also an important innovation, because it makes the 32GS95UE one of the most flexible displays for everyday use that you can buy. Basically, the panel offers a 4K resolution at 240 Hz, while by pressing a physical button on the body you can switch to Full HD at 480 Hz. These are very high values and allow you to push the speed to the maximum only when you really need it, for example with competitive titles, while enjoying 4K when playing solo. This flexibility is an important strong point for LG’s monitor, which thus manages to offer the best user experience in every context of use, all with a response time of 0.03ms GtG.

The anti-glare screen is designed to minimize visual disturbance, but it is the panel that has another very important feature, which confirms LG’s desire to create a monitor of absolute excellence. It is in fact a MLA+ type panelan acronym that means Micro Lens Array+.

Compared to a normal OLED monitor, here we find micro lenses placed above the emissive organic material that makes up the panel, capable of optimizing the light as best as possible. The result can be seen from the data released by LG, which indicates a peak brightness of 1300 Nit, which combined with 98.5% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space offers brilliant colors and simply incredible contrast. The difference compared to a common HDR400 certified 4K monitor is simply abysmal and allows the 32GS95UE to always offer spectacular images in every context of use. On the gaming front, there is no shortage of all the most modern connections and technologies designed for gaming.

On the back there are in fact two HDMI 2.1 and a Display Portperfect for connecting a PC and two gaming consoles, and NVIDIA G-Sync, FreeSync Premium Pro and VRR are fully supported.
The monitor’s OSD is also designed for gaming, with an aggressively designed interface full of options. In addition to all the monitor adjustments there are some interesting additions, such as Dynamic Action Sync, with which to further reduce image latency, or Black Stabilizer, to better highlight enemies hidden in dark areas of the game area. It is then possible to activate an on-screen crosshair and the FPS counter, always useful for measuring in-game performance.

LG didn’t bother to compromise on the audio front either, thanks to the Pixel Sound technology. This emits sounds directly from the panel, making it vibrate and thus directing the sound directly towards the monitor user. Pixel Sound creates an advantage in the positioning of sounds in space, unlike classic rear speakers, which must exploit the reverberation on the wall to be effective. For those who prefer headphones, a four-pole headphone output is also available, to have an even greater sense of immersion in the game.

LG UltraGear 32GS95UE is available for purchase at a price of 1399 euros on the LG website, a figure perfectly in line with the quality and performance that this monitor is able to offer.
