Prince William41, and the Princess of Wales Kate Middleton, 42 years old, are the owners of some empty, battered and left in very bad conditions. The English tabloids are covering it and are speculating on what the couple will want to do with it.
The Adelaide Cottage
Since 2022 the couple has lived inAdelaide Cottagein Windsor Home Park just east of the Windsor CastleIn the Berkshire. A candy pink four-bedroom house that has been shielding the future queen from the spotlight since the beginning of the year while she faces treatment for her cancer. It is located forty kilometers from central London and a 15-minute drive from the school of their three children (George, 10 years old, Charlotte, 9 years old, and Louis, 6 years old).
A source, as reported by the Daily Mail, revealed that this residence has “seven entrances and exits towards Windsor Castle” so that the family can move around without worrying about being paparazzi. From this cottage the family could cross the meadow and visit the Queen Elizabeth II (she also moved from Buckingham Palace at Windsor Castle) and enjoy a huge green space.
The Adelaide Lodge
On the same driveway is theAdelaide Lodge, another residence on the estate, now uninhabited. The structure has various structural problems and is not a safe residence, unless the royal family proceeds with a massive intervention. Its renovation, however, does not seem to be among Kate and William’s priorities, although Hello magazine has highlighted that it could be an excellent idea to guarantee George, Charlotte or Louis a bit of independence when, in a few years, they want to experiment with it . It is therefore unclear what will happen to the Lodge in the future.
