Clearly it was not possible to play PS1 titles since it was a toy, but in any case this PlayStation-style Optimus Prime was also supplied with miniature discs to offer the nice illusion of actually being in front of a console. The crossover between PS1 and Transformers then became reality during 2015. With 2024 marking respectively the fortieth anniversary of Transformers and the thirtieth of PlayStation, who knows if other similar initiatives will become reality.
