The usual security update for the month of June it arrived with a certain urgency. The latter, in fact, was released by Google to solve tens of software vulnerabilities and protect your devices from dangers of the web who threatened them.
The security update has arrived on smartphones Pixels For fix 50 bugs. Seven of the latter were also classified as critics. In particular, one was discovered vulnerability (CVE-2024-32896) which concerns the Pixel firmware and which, according to what Google declared, was actively exploited by hackers. This flaw was called “privilege escalation” (EoP) and allows apps to gain permissions they shouldn’t have. This can potentially compromise i sensitive data of Pixel users.
