The trailer for Summer Game Fest 2024 published by Geoff Keighley provides a taste of the games that we will be able to see at the opening event, which as we know will be broadcast on Friday 7 June starting at 11pm.

The sequences open with Senua’s Sacrifice: Hellblade 2, undoubtedly one of the most important titles of the last period, and end with one of the characters from Alan Wake 2, but in the overview created by Keighley we really find a large number of games.

At the same time as the publication of the trailer, the official profile of the Summer Game Fest also revealed that the showcase will last two hours and will be followed by Day of the Devs and the Devolver Direct.

Enthusiasm grows

They call it “hype trailer” for a reason: the video you can see below has the specific objective of build enthusiasm towards the opening event of Summer Game Fest 2024, which will “celebrate the games released so far in 2024 and those yet to come”.

We know practically for sure that during the showcase we will see the first expansion of Alan Wake 2 and the trailer sequences often linger on Star Wars Outlaws, another highly anticipated title that will make its debut in a few weeks, the August 30th.

There are also scenes from Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, the new Astro Bot and Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, announced in April with trailers and details, as well as Helldivers 2 and the rumored Sonic & Shadow Generations.

So let’s get ready: the appointment with the Summer Game Fest 2024 showcase is set for Friday 7 June starting at 11pm and you can of course follow it live on Multiplayer.it
