TheID@Xbox Digital Showcase, a Microsoft-themed event where we mainly talk about independent productions, whether it’s upcoming new features or post-launch support for those that have already been available for some time. Let’s discover all the games and updates shown during the live streaming.
The event was kicked off by the trailer for Astor Blade of the Monolith, a new and colorful action RPG that is preparing for its debut on PC and Xbox: the release date is in fact set for next year May 30, 2024. Immediately afterwards came the turn of the new gameplay footage of 33 Immortals, a truly particular isometric action game in which dozens of players must cooperate within a setting inspired by Dante’s Inferno to defeat dangerous creatures and reach the end of a dungeon. The trailer of the game confirmed the imminent arrival of the Closed Beta, which will allow some lucky people to immerse themselves in these atmospheres ahead of launch.
Among the protagonists of the event we also find Palworld, which has returned to show itself with a film dedicated to the first free update which will introduce an oriental scenario with a series of new Pals to capture. After the short trailer of Centumdue out in summer 2024, the turn has come Lost Records Bloom & Rage, the new Don’t Nod game that mixes horror and 80s atmospheres. The turn-based role-playing game with cyberpunk atmosphere entitled was then shown Keylockerfollowed by the frenetic announcement of Stampede Racing Royale, a new free to play kart racing game.
The next announcement concerned the confirmation of the arrival of the colored one Times & Galaxy in June 2024, which then left room for an unexpected announcement: the promising PvE extraction shooter Sulphur, whose demo was recently published on Steam, will also arrive on Xbox. Immediately afterwards we witnessed the colorful film of Fera The Sundered Tribes, a new Monster Hunter-style hunting game arriving by the end of 2024 on the main platforms. To the delight of puzzle game fans, the trailer then arrived All You Need is Helpwhich will arrive during the fall of 2024.
Another welcome return to the scene is that of Tails of Iron 2 Whiskers of Winter, sequel to the 2D soulslike whose launch window is unfortunately not yet known. Instead, Dungeons of Hinterberg has a release date, which will arrive on PC and Xbox on July 18, 2024. After a series of short sequences dedicated to upcoming minor indies, the time has come to close on a high note: in the finale in fact we find the reveal of the new free additional content for Vampire Survivors, entitled Laboratory Update and already published for everyone.
