DJI Mini 4K is the economical drone for those starting to fly

The next DJI drone will really please everyone, even with an eye on the wallet: the next drone is simply called DJI Mini 4K, a cheaper version of the current Mini 4, which however will not give up respectable features.

As the name itself suggests, it will be able to capture 4K video at up to 30 fps, or movies at 60 fps but with 2.7K resolutionwith video bitrate up to 100 Mbps. This will certainly ensure higher quality video than the current budget Mini 2 SE drone.

DJI Mini 4K should not be confused with the Mini Pro series, which certainly costs several hundred euros more. With this latest series, Mini 4K, in the USA priced at 299 dollars), will share the weight, which remains less than 249 grams. The aesthetics and design are also very similar to the Mini series that we all know, offering a foldable structure, as well as not requiring any license.

Obviously, the technical specifications of this drone will not match those of the Pro series, but it offers unrivaled quality in this price range, starting from a camera with 2x digital zoom even during 4K recordinga 3-axis gimbal and digital image stabilization.

DJI Mini 4K, according to the company’s statements, arrives at transmit 1080p video up to 10km awayalthough certainly within Europe this distance will be enormously limited.

Still, the drone will offer a level 5 wind resistance and a flight time of up to 31 minutes, or up to 93 minutes with the Fly More package.

Of course, many of these features will sound familiar to drivers of the previous SE series. This is because, almost certainly, this Mini 4K embodies somewhat of the same philosophy as the previous SEs, but offers a rebranding in terms of name.

At the time of writing it is already available for purchase on Amazon for 299 euros.
