Dragon’s Dogma 2: April 25th update available, here’s what’s new

Capcom has released the patch 1.1 Of Dragon’s Dogma 2 on all platforms. As promised in recent days by the company, the update aims to resolve some problems related to tokens and other game dynamics.

Among the changes we find those made to the mechanics of the Draconic Plague. In particular, the infection rate has been reduced and the signs of an infected Pawn are now much more evident. For example, the red glow in the eyes of an ally affected by this disease will be easier to see.

Always remaining within the scope of the Pawns, they were tweaked some of their behaviors in battle and during exploration, as well as their dialogues. For example, the annoying problem where Pawns sometimes “forget” to guide the player after offering to do so has been resolved, the frequency of some lines of dialogue has been reduced, the probability of them mistakenly falling from cliffs has been made and their support to the player is efficient when using the “Help!” command. in battle.

Additionally, some issues that could cause problems have been resolved blocks in progression or sudden closures of missions and another that led to the player being arrested by the guards if they faced monsters inside the cities.

As anticipated in recent days, unfortunately today’s update does not bring any improvements to the graphics sector of Dragon’s Dogma 2 on console and PC (at least according to the official notes), with players therefore waiting for the resolution of problems related to performance and the workload on the CPU that will have to be patient further. Hopefully not too long.
