Ferrari H2 Berlinetta: suggestive hypothesis for a hydrogen heir to the 812 Superfast

Ferrari H2 Berlinetta is the name chosen by the designer Fabio Bilotta for his new project in which he imagined what a future heir to the 812 Superfast. The young designer tried to imagine a solution for the future of the Maranello car manufacturer in which the zero emissions objective, which now represents a sort of mantra throughout the automotive world, can coexist peacefully with tradition and DNA. of the Maranello car manufacturer. The young digital creator achieved this result by going beyond the classic electric super cars.

Designer Fabio Bilotta has created an interesting project: Ferrari H2 Berlinetta, possible heir to the 812 Superfast

Ferrari H2 Berlinetta is in fact a hydrogen super car. This does not use FCEV technology (Fuel Cell) as normally happens but imagine hydrogen as a fuel instead of petrol inside an engine similar to those currently used by car manufacturer from Maranello.

As regards the design chosen for this creation, the same author of the Ferrari H2 Berlinetta explained that the intent of his project was to clean up the surfaces of the imagined car, granting it the role of protagonist to volumes and proportions. The almost total absence of graphic elements is therefore intended to be a sort of manifesto of an essential aesthetic that can be sporty without sacrificing elegance.

The Ferrari H2 Berlinetta is conceived as a single and cohesive solid capable of accompanying the upper air flows to the rear, where they meet those coming from the underbody diffuser, thus limiting drag. From the side and rear views you can in fact notice how the green house is steeply sloped towards the rear, a crucial feature for limiting the distance between the upper and lower flows and, therefore, the aerodynamic suction.

The front of this hypothetical Ferrari H2 Berlinetta is characterized by four main openings: two of these allow the central ramps to bring air to the radiators and brakes while the vertical ones, more lateral and hidden, shoot the air along the side creating a bubble around the front rims thus reducing aerodynamic interference. The flow is then collected by the carbon fins and accompanied along the entire length to the rear.

The interiors of the Ferrari H2 Berlinetta also reflect the same stylistic language as the bodywork. The driving position is clearly inspired by Formula 1 but, thanks to the presence of some ergonomic and technological features, access and use are comfortable.

The physical buttons, although reduced in number, are not lacking and we can find them both in the central console, for launch control and ABS, and in the cloche steering wheel, with the classic manettino and with some selectors for navigating through the menus. Entering and exiting the passenger compartment is facilitated by the movement of the steering wheel, which slides and retracts under the dashboard. The same thing also happens with the seats. A car of this type in terms of dimensions and aesthetic characteristics could be a worthy substitute for the Ferrari 812 Superfast.
