How did the free practice go?
Max Verstappendespite the engine problems, closes the free practice sessions of the Austrian Grand Prix in first place with a time of 1’05″685, ahead of Oscar Plates (McLaren, +0″276). Two third and fourth Ferrari respectively with Charles Leclerc (+0″370) and Carlos Sainz (+0″443). Fifth place for Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes, +0″569), author of 39 laps. Sixth was the Frenchman Esteban Ocon (Alpine, +0″612), seventh Lance Stroll (Aston Martin, +0″699) ahead of George’s other Mercedes Russell (+0″701) ea Yuki Tsunoda (Rb, +0″894). Tenth place for Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin, +0″918), decimo.
At 16.30 everyone on track for the Sprint Race qualifying.
