For a cycling race that is ready to start tomorrow from Viola Park, the historic Tour de France that was presented yesterday in the setting of Piazzale Michelangelo and not only, there is a long path started by Fiorentina last June 1st that is experiencing a very important phase these days: it will not be the Alps, it will not be the very famous Galibier, but Finding the first striker was one of the fundamental steps that the Viola club had set for itself after having definitively closed the 2023/24 season.
The Mountain Grand Prix already passed
The first stage was to find the new technical director after the farewell of Nicolas Burdisso, and Pradè identified Roberto Goretti as the right-hand man who will have to help him in the difficult reconstruction after three years of Italian, a stage achieved without particular difficulties and indeed with the wind of the favor of those who see in Goretti a young man on the launching pad. Climbing to the top

The next steps
Having reached an agreement for Kean, now there is the rest of the race to do. There are already the first moves regarding the goalkeeper, waiting to understand whether to sell Christensen and above all who, in defense, will need at least another addition beyond the promotion of a young player. But it is in midfield that there will be the toughest climbs: to date Mandragora is the only one who can be part of the department and the management is working to find the next pivot of the team on which to base the game. Finally the attack, with Zaniolo being the next stop: these will be decisive days to reach this summit, important news will probably arrive today. Either Fiorentina reaches this Mountain Grand Prix too or they get off their bike and focus on something else. In short, the Tour de Viola has already begun, while tomorrow La Grande Boucle will start in front of Viola Park, the most fascinating cycling race of the year which for the first time in its history will pass through Florence to pay homage to Gino Bartali.
